
Steak with Fennel and Olives
This is an easy-to-make steak that will look like it belongs in a restaurant.

Method
- Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper and let rest, bringing them to room temperature.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and sauté the fennel until soft and tender.
- Add jalapeño slices and olives and sauté for a few minutes more.
- Remove the mixture and set aside in a bowl.
- Add more olive oil, if cooking the steak in the skillet. Otherwise, grill the steak to desired doneness and keep the fennel and pepper in the skillet on warm.
- Serve steak with fennel mixture on top. Finish with a few fennel fronds on top to be fancy 🙂
